Guess who's back? And this time, they're behind the chair.
If you already know Reyn, chances are you fell in love with them the first time around. After beginning their Shannon Aleksandr's story as part of our Guest Services team, Reyn traded Evansville for Bloomington for a bit—but lucky for us, home called them back. Now they've returned in an entirely new role as a stylist, and somehow it feels like exactly where they were always meant to be.
For Reyn, hair is another form of self-expression. They chose this career because they love helping people discover new ways to express themselves and feel like the most authentic version of who they are. Add in their genuine love of meeting and connecting with people they otherwise may never have known, and you've got someone who understands that great hair is only part of what happens behind the chair.
Outside the salon, Reyn is still every bit as intriguing as we remember. They're an avid concert-goer, scary-movie lover, great cook and devoted parent to three "old lady" cats—Lois, Ethel and Peggy. Give them a trip to Chicago for great food and live music, some sushi, or a night at home with their cats and they're pretty much set.
What do we love most about having Reyn back? They're unmistakably themselves. Empathetic and funny, bold and grounded, with a point of view that's entirely their own. And now they get to use all of that individuality to help their guests discover a little more of their own.
